Stubbornness is a behavioral disorder that affects adults and children, but young people acquire it from adults, as a kind of tradition, and acquired character, which is the result of stubbornness without intent or awareness and without explaining the reasons, and this character is characterized by violent reactions. The reasons for the child’s stubborn
problem are:
• The obstinacy of the child in order to satisfy a temporary desire:
such as obtaining a toy, or something rigid, and it is one of the types of dangerous stubbornness because it denotes an irresponsible dependable personality who cannot adapt to the circumstances of life.
• Parents’ insistence on carrying out their incomprehensible and disproportionate orders:
such as asking the mother to ask the child to wear heavy clothes even though the weather is warm, which pushes the child to stubbornness as a reaction.
• The child’s desire to assert himself and his independence from the family:
especially if the family does not develop that motivation in itself.
• Cruelty. The child rejects the harsh rhetoric, accepts hope and resort to stubbornness:
as well as when parents interfere in every small and large in his life and restrict him to orders that are sometimes unnecessary so the child finds no escape except stubbornness.
• Satisfying the child’s desires and demands:
as a result of stubbornness supports this behavior for him, so this behavior is taken to achieve his goals and desires in similar situations.

• Changing the method of dealing with the child:
as role model for the child is the first and most truthful message that a mother and father can provide to the child, as this role model appears not in dealing with the child only, but through interaction between the father and mother.
• You must deal with the child through patience and flexibility:
in dealing with the situation with no nervousness and not to use loud voice, in addition to using the method of understanding and persuasion with the child.
• Preparing the child for the matter that you want :
to implement so that the required thing from the child is not a sudden matter in which the child feels oppression or psychological pressure, but the matter is gradual, so the matter does not cause psychological pressure for the child, but is calm and with a calm voice.
• Not to pressure the child in orders that are not important:
as you must deal with the child flexibly and overlook simple things.
• Agreeing with the child on the tasks required:
of him by prior agreements and in the event of non-commitment, an
appropriate punishment is put in place to refuse orders such as deprivation of something that is desirable to him and the punishment should not be greater than the position, and the punishment must be applied immediately after the situation in order to relate to the child’s mind so that the punishment is gradual begins Simple punishment, and gradually increases until the child completes the required thing.
• The guardian must not give the child a non-executable order and draw his attention before giving orders.
• When the child executes the matter:
the mother and father must reward the child through encouragement and praise when he behaves well or listens to you and obeys. It can also be the reward when the child responds and is obedient.
• Do not talk about your child’s negatives in front of others:
and do not make a comparison between your child and another child.
• Avoid beating and discussing the negative consequences of his behavior as a large person:
